We are so grateful that Sam has the opportunity to learn piano with Ms. Eliza Chien. She is truly the best piano teacher he has ever had. Her kindness, patience, and wonderful teaching style make every lesson enjoyable and inspiring. Sam absolutely loves her classes and always looks forward to every Friday. He gets so excited to see her, learn new notes, improve his skills, and complete his music lessons. It’s wonderful to see how much confidence and enthusiasm she has helped him develop. Ms. Eliza is not only an exceptional teacher but also an amazing person who genuinely cares about her students. Her encouragement, positivity, and dedication make such a meaningful difference. We truly appreciate everything she has done for Sam and feel incredibly fortunate to have her as his piano teacher. I've really enjoyed my experience with this school. The scheduling and makeup lesson system is incredibly well organized, making it easy to manage lessons without lengthy email exchanges or scheduling confusion. Everything is clear, efficient, and student-friendly. I also greatly appreciated that the school offers Chinese-speaking instructors. Having the option to communicate in Chinese made lessons more comfortable and helped me better understand technical concepts when needed. The combination of excellent administration, convenient scheduling, and supportive teachers made learning here a very positive experience. Highly recommended.

My son started private cello class at Opus 1 since summer 2023. His teacher, Mr Michael Fitzpatrick, has provided him a nice balance of masterful instruction and inspiration. He also allows him to play his chosen pieces not just from the Suzuki book, helping with sustaining interest in playing. I highly recommend Opus 1 and Me Fitzpatrick.

She balances rigorous technique with a very encouraging atmosphere. The staff at Opus 1 also make scheduling and communication seamless. A great place for anyone serious about learning music.

She’s been working with Ms Giselle for las one and half years. She worked diligently to help my daughter prepare for ABRSM grade 5, and my daughter passed with distinction. Ms Giselle is very sweet, skillful and knows well how to work with a teenager!

My 5 year old son has been taking voice lessons with teacher Caitlin for around 6 months. She is very patient, friendly, engaging and my son enjoys his lessons. I can also see him improving since he started lessons with her. My 9 year old son has been taking piano lessons with teacher Emily for a while now. She is an excellent teacher who keeps my son engaged and he continuously improves. I also like Opus 1’s flexible cancellation policy and how you can make up the lesson.

Opus 1 is a wonderful music school with many skilled piano teachers. I liked how when we started years ago, we could trial with different teachers to find the best fit for our now 13 year old son, as every student is different! We have really enjoyed working with Teacher Theodora, and one of the things we appreciate the most about her is her thoughtful insights and feedback on our son's skills, technique, song choice, and everything in between. We also appreciate her timeliness and care of her students. Thank you Theodora!

We have been with Opus 1 for several years now and have worked with Teacher Elliot for cello for my now 11 year old ever since. Teacher Elliot is very skilled in his craft and teaches with kindness. One of the things we like most about Teacher Elliot is the way he explains specific techniques. He is also one of the kindest and friendliest people out there and we're grateful he does such a good job of balancing teaching cello skills and techniques, while still keeping it fun and exciting to preserve the kids' love of playing cello. I am a student of Giselle and ever since she has been teaching me I have felt like she has actually cared about what I want to be able to do in piano and taught me lots of different techniques. She has helped me step out of my comfort zone, but also made sure I was happy and comfortable with doing that. she has also helped me learn so many songs that I never could’ve learned without her. ms. lina is an incredibly kind and amazing teacher! not only does she put a lot of effort into teaching, you can also tell she has a lot of love and passion for music. i previously was pretty indifferent about learning piano, but now i really enjoy going to class, as well as practicing outside. she consistently shows a lot of care for her students, and I have lots of fun in class with her. i truly appreciate her for all that she does!

We love Teacher Giselle! She is kind, patient, and encouraging. From the first lesson, my shy daughter felt very comfortable and at ease with her. My son's piano teacher is Teacher Tahv at Opus music studio. He really enjoys his classes! Teacher Tahv manages to make the lessons really fun (he's great with young kids) and also the right level of challenging. Since my son has been playing by the ear for a while and also loves music theory and composition, teacher Tahv works with a modified curriculum that encourages my son's natural curiosity and creativity. He's encouraging, fun and himself really amazing at playing and improvisation. We love classes with teacher Tahv at Opus!

Teacher Julia is an exceptional piano teacher with deep teaching experience and a true passion for music education. My child genuinely enjoys every lesson with her.
