Piano

Private piano lessons at Opus 1 cost $265–$595 per month for one weekly 30, 45, or 60-minute lesson, and most children are ready to start piano between ages 5 and 7. Lessons support beginners, recreational learners, and advanced students preparing for exams, auditions, or recitals.

Violin, viola, and cello

Most children start violin between ages 4 and 7; viola and cello typically begin around 6 to 8 because they need more physical reach. String students work on posture, tone, note reading, ear training, sight-reading, and performance confidence, with the same $265–$595 monthly tuition as every private lesson.

Guitar and ukulele

The best age to start guitar is between 6 and 9, when hands are big enough for a fractional-size neck — ukulele works well from age 5 as a stepping stone. Study acoustic, electric, classical, chord charts, tabs, fingerstyle, rock, pop, blues, and jazz.

Teacher matching

Families can choose from standard, senior, and master teachers depending on goals, learning style, and expected pace.

Flexible starts

Trial lessons are available before weekly membership so students can meet a teacher and confirm the fit.

Adult lessons

It's never too late to start. Adult music lessons are open to every age and level, including complete beginners, with evening and weekend scheduling.
